Descendants of Austin Tann
Anthony Tann, born 1734 in North Carolina, son of Anthony and Susannah (Jefferies) Tann. He married Margaret Sweat and migrated with his children to Knox County, Indiana. They lived with the "Shaker Community" in Busseron Township, Indiana. On June 17, 1811 in Indiana, Anthony Tann died. Below are the descendants of Anthony and Margaret (Sweat) Tann.

LUCY TANN: Connection to the Tann family in Indiana
The Tann family lived in Mississippi in 1910, Lucy Tann, lived with her niece, Mary L. Cooper, age 52 and a widow. Mary had two children. Mary was born in Alabama, and her father, was born in Virginia, and her mother, Alabama. Lucy Tann, Mary's aunt was 87 years old, she was born in Alabama, her father was born in Indiana, and her mother was born in Tennessee. Roscoe C. Byrd, the nephew of Lucy Tann. Roscoe was 27 years old, and was born in Mississippi. His father was born in Alabama, and his mother was born in Mississippi.
